Jacksonville, FL — Showers are rotating in off the Atlantic from the north and east as the backside of a storm system that brought several inches of rain the last couple of days finally moves away.
Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh says it’s going to be damp for most of the morning but skies will brighten by late in the day and temperatures will climb to the mid-60’s. It’ll stay breezy, especially closer to the coast.
Christmas Day looks decent overall with partly sunny conditions and temperatures rising to 68 inland, but cooler at the beaches.
We continue a warming trend for the end of the week, as temps climb into the mid-70’s.
As dreary as this morning looks, skies will brighten by late today, setting up a pretty Christmas overall. @MikeFirstAlert
