Jacksonville, FL — With the Duval Unitary General Election now over, WOKV is breaking down the results.
While some the biggest races were decided back in March, including the race for Jacksonville's Mayor, Sheriff, and Tax Collector, the May 14th election decided five seats on Jacksonville's City Council.
Two of those were at-large races, allowing everyone in the city to vote; three were district spots, meaning only residents in those districts can vote on those races.
The Duval County Supervisor of Elections website, shows 86,173 were cast in this election. That puts voter turnout at 14.16%.
