JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence threw four touchdown passes, and compiled 245 yards through the air as Jacksonville dominated its home opener against the Cleveland Browns, 34-10.
The Browns (0-1) scored its first points on a 26-yard field goal midway through the third quarter to make it 31-3, but Lawrence had already connected on scoring tosses to TE Brenton Strange, and WRs Parker Washington, Jakobi Meyers and Josh Cameron.
The Browns scored a late touchdown on a QB Deshaun Watson 46-yard pass with less than two minutes to go. But the play did not salvage the debut of new Cleveland head coach Todd Monken.
