Jacksonville FL — This week the University of Florida told professors they should hold face-to-face classes online due to the spread of coronavirus, so we checked in with how Northeast Florida colleges were preparing if they need to make changes. Jacksonville University tells us they are prepared to teach all classes online, but they are not moving forward with those plans as of now. The University of North Florida tells us they are not moving on-campus, face-to-face classes online at this time, but they are coming up with plans to continue the education process if they need to make a change.
We checked in with Flagler College and they tell us its business as usual at the school this week ahead of spring break next week and that they do have an emergency response plan in place that they are following. FSCJ says they are currently on spring break and they will work with any student who is isolated in order to continue their course work.
