Jacksonville, FL — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is announcing the arrest of Angelo Giardino III after he shot and killed Michael Hooks in Jacksonville Heights late Saturday night.
Investigators say Giardino and Hooks were both at the victim’s house. Giardino picked up a gun belonging to Hooks. He did not know the gun was loaded when he pointed the gun at Hooks. The gun went off and hit Hooks. The victim was taken to the hospital where he later died.
JSO says Giardino has been charged with manslaughter.
