Jacksonville, FL — A man died when he drove an SUV into a tree, nearly hitting an apartment complex on Hodges near Atlantic.
Jacksonville police are investigating why the man behind the wheel of a Chevy Tahoe lost control around 10 pm Thursday as he was headed north on Hodges Blvd.
The SUV came within 10 or 15 feet of hitting the Crescent Ridge Apartments.
According to JSO, no one else was injured.
