New COVID-19 Vaccination sites in Jacksonville to open in March

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville will soon be getting an additional 3,000 COVID-19 vaccines a day starting March 3.

Governor Ron DeSantis announced that 2,000 vaccines will be distributed at Gateway Mall off Norwood Avenue.

Two smaller mobile sites will also be distributing 500 vaccines each. While the locations for these sites have not been released, a press release from the Governor’s Office says they will be in underserved areas in the city.

These sites will open on March 3 and will operate 7 days per week, 7 a.m. through 7 p.m.
