Clay County FL — Emergency management officials in Clay County Wednesday announced they are not getting any new coronavirus vaccines this week. Emergency Management Director John Ward says they’ve been assured that the county will again get an allotment of vaccines beginning next week. He says the numbers of vaccines the county gets will change on a weekly basis, so starting next week the county plans to announce how many vaccines they have received by noon on Wednesday.
“Then on Wednesday at 3PM the online portal at Alert.ClayCountyGov.com will open.” Ward says.
He says they are working to come up with a way of making sure people who can’t make an appointment online can still make one.
Currently, appointments are only available for residents 65 or older and for front-line healthcare workers.
