PHOTO: St. Johns County deputies investigating after driver approaches, possibly films child

Jacksonville, FL — The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office is turning to the community for help after a suspicious incident on December 1st not far from Patriot Oaks Academy.

According to deputies, an individual driving a light blue vehicle, possibly a Honda Accord, approached a 13-yer-old in the area of Sanctuary Drive, just off Longleaf Pine Parkway, and began speaking with this teen.

Deputies say as the teen approached the vehicle, he believed the driver was filming him with a cell phone. When the teen tried to go inside his garage, deputies say the driver yelled at him to come back to the vehicle. But deputies say when the teen continued to walk away, the driver left.

Deputies say the driver was described as being a white man, but no other details are available.
