Jacksonville, Fl — A wind shift may bring some relief from the heat. It’s still going to be hot and humid with highs reaching the lower 90′s inland, mid-80′s at the beaches.
Only a few afternoon showers will develop near Highway 301 and push well inland. There will be many local neighborhoods that do not see rain.
A few brief showers are likely again tomorrow as highs stay steady in the lower 90′s.
The weekend will feature long parts of the day dry. However, there will be a few inland showers and storms in the afternoons. Highs will remain in the lower 90's.

Today will be another hot afternoon... but the beaches will stay in the upper 80s thanks to the sea breeze. Only a few brief inland showers this afternoon. #FirstAlertWX pic.twitter.com/zSkERzXiGR
