Jacksonville, FL — Jacksonville Police allowed people back into their homes at the View at Mandarin Apartments on Old St. Augustine and Losco Road after an hours long standoff with a suicidal man.
People were up all night at the View at Mandarin Apartments on Losco Road and Old St. Augustine Road. Just before 5:30 a.m. they got a person out of an apartment on a gurney and JFRD took the person away.
Neighbors say it started around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. JSO sent a tweet around 8:00 p.m. saying that roads were being cleared. But officers were back on scene by 10:00 p.m. according to neighbors.
A woman we spoke with outside said she tried to come home last night but they wouldn’t let her back into her apartment.
