Two men sentenced for dealing gun tied to Detective's death

The maximum sentence allowed for two of the people convicted of handling the gun that ultimately killed Clay County Detective David White.

Robert Apple II and Jack LeMond have each been sentenced to 7 years for dealing in stolen property.  Investigators say Apple first stole the gun in Jacksonville in 2011.  It then passed through the hands of three people, including LeMond, before winding up with Ted Tilley, who fatally shot White and injured Detective Matt Hanlin in February 2012.

Christopher Henderson and Curtis Dingler have court appearances soon for similar charges. They are the other two people who handled the gun and, according to investigators, knew it was stolen.
