JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A 26-year-old man is facing charges after Jacksonville police said he violated the state’s super speeder law on Arlington Expressway. It happened on Aug. 6. Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office posted video of the encounter Monday on its Facebook page.
Officer Reshawn Gelsey clocked the driver at 105 in a 50-mile-per-hour zone. “That’s more than twice the speed limit. Unacceptable,” the Facebook post states.
He was arrested for Reckless Driving, Driving Over 100MPH, Resisting an Officer Without Violence, and Driving with a Suspended, Cancelled or Revoked License, the Facebook post states.
