Jacksonville, Fl — It’s a windy and cold morning, the 70s return later this week.

Winds will be 15-20 mph through the day, with the gusts blowing at 25 mph out of the northeast. Highs will be in the 40s and 50s today.

Temperatures quickly rebound by Tuesday afternoon into the lower 60s.

Christmas week looks warmer than average across much of the lower 48.

Florida gas prices are moving lower as millions of Americans finalize their year-end holiday travel plans.

Of the 7.5 million Floridians that AAA expects to take a trip, 6.7 million are forecast to drive.

Florida’s average gas price has declined 31 cents in the past 23 days. Sunday’s average price was $2.81 per gallon.
