WOKV’s Exclusive Interview with UNF President Moez Limayem on his Inauguration Day Celebrations

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The seventh President of The University of North Florida, Moez Limayem celebrated his Inauguration last week by thanking students with surprise scholarships, funded by Florida Blue.

“We put it in a big glass bowl, then we just selected randomly one-by-one ten scholarships, 500 hundred dollars each, so ten lucky students went home with 500 hundred dollars,’ Limayem says.

The theme of his inaugural speech centered around the president’s gratitude towards the students, faculty, and staff during his “hit the ground listening” tour of UNF.
