Jacksonville — The driver of a log truck has died after the truck went into a ditch and overturned in Nassau County. Florida Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 6:25 a.m. Tuesday at State Road 200 at Piney Island near the Shave Bridge. The driver has been identified as John Glendel Milton, 66, of Folkston, Georgia.

The crash caused the log truck to overturn and threw logs into the path of another vehicle, causing another crash. That driver was not hurt. Lanes were blocked on State Road 200 as crews tried to clear the crash.
