It was initially reported that urgent care clinic giant Solantic was reportedly moving their headquarters out of Jacksonville to Tennessee. But we’re now learning, that’s simply not true.
The Governor’s Office sent out a statement Thursday evening stating reports that Solantic is moving their headquarters is simply not true.
The correction comes after Governor Rick Scott called the news disappointing. The statement continued on to say that Governor Scott assumed the question he was asked regarding the rumored move was based on accurate information.
“We plan on maintaining an office here in Florida and Jacksonville specifically,” says Director of Marketing Paul Dickison. He also continued on to say that they will be expanding and opening up another corporate office in Nashville to supply demand for a growing company.
“To facilitate our growth, we feel like there’s a great opportunity to expand outside the State of Florida as well,” says Dickison.
Governor Rick Scott cofounded the chain back in 2001.
