A motivational speaker who made a bucket list of 100 things to do before he dies, is starting his journey Wednesday at Jacksonville Beach, to check off his last goal.
Leo Schreven, plans to walk across America in 100 days arriving in San Diego on his 50th birthday. He will have a support team and two RVs following him providing food and setting up seminars he will hold throughout his journey.
Schreven said he has been working out since last May and ran over 3,000 miles. He will walk 26 miles a day and feels confident he can do this.
He plans on taking Highway 90 all they way through Houston, Texas and then other roads to San Diego, California, but what he is really looking forward to is, "the last mile I'll walk with my wife and daughter, hand-in-hand, and we will end the journey walking into the Pacific Ocean."
When Schreven finishes his goal, he will be the 5th person to ever have accomplished this task.
