Jacksonville — The Southbank of the St. Johns River in Jacksonville has been getting pretty lively on the third Thursday of each month thanks to the monthly Sip & Stroll event. That new trend continues this month.
January’s version runs from 5 to 8 p.m. with plenty of places to get food and cocktails while live music is playing.
Downtown Vision, Inc. announced the lineup last week, which features The Band Be Easy and acoustic duo Robby and Felix. The food offerings will be from Chancho King, Dos Vatos Tacos, Lazy Days HotDog Cart, San Marco Chz Fry Co. and Hibashi Party on the Riverwalk and at Southbank Hotel Jacksonville Riverwalk.
The Riverwalk will also have two full bars, and the pool deck at the DoubleTree by Hilton will have an additional bar with more live music.
