JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — At least six people, including a child, were inside a room at the Brentwood Lakes Apartments when someone opened fire hitting a man three times in the torso.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office say some sort of argument started just before 2 a.m. Monday. The suspect fired his gun and left the scene before police showed up. He’s believed to be in his early 20s and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and white tennis shoes.
The victim was sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injures and is expected to be okay.
No suspects have been detained at this time, but police are interviewing people that were inside the apartment.
Anyone with information is asked to call JSO at 904-630-0500 or First Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS (8477).
