Event at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena offers free night out for military spouses

Jacksonville — Military spouses are invited to attend the 5th Annual Military Spouse Night Out on Thursday in Jacksonville where they’ll be treated to a free night of fun, food, pampering and more.

The event at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena runs from 5 to 8 p.m. It’s open to spouses of active-duty military, National Guard, reserves and retired service members.

The City of Jacksonville puts on the event, with the help of the USO and VyStar, to show the appreciation for everything military spouses do. Plenty of resources will be there, including dresses from retail stores.

You can sign up here if you’re looking to go. When you check in you will have to show a valid military ID. Free parking is available in Lot Z.
