A viewing will be held on Thursday, June 27 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Paxon Revival Center Church, located at 5461 Commonwealth Avenue, Jacksonville, FL, 32254.

Ann Dugger with the Justice Coalition says Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home is donating the funeral services and the cemetery plot to Cherish’s family. Dugger tells WOKV news the family is need of a headstone for Charish and flowers for the service.

"One of the things we would like to make sure Charish has is a headstone."

Dugger says they will soon open up an account to collect money for the headstone. Donations are being accepted to help the family with funeral items. If you would like to donate, you can do so through the Justice Coalition. They can be reached at 904-783-6312.

Police say Cherish was abducted from a Walmart on Friday night after sex offender, Donald James Smith, offered to help the family. Smith was arrested Saturday morning about 10 hours after she was reported missing.  Her body was found a short time later off Broward Road. Smith is charged with kidnapping and murder and is currently being held without bail.
