Animal lovers will likely feel a range of emotions after hearing this story.
The Clay County Animal Care and Control says someone dropped off a 6-week-old puppy early Wednesday morning.
Sadly, the brindle mix breed puppy died.
The author of a post on the Clay Animal Care and Control Facebook said, “I want you to know I cried over the loss of your puppy, even though I never got to show him love or help him”.
The author says abandoning an animal should never be an option, as there are several organizations committed to caring for, and placing pets, in forever homes.
They include Animal Control, Clay Humane Society, and First Coast No More Homeless Pets.
