Jacksonville, Fl — Expect midday and afternoon showers and storms again today, but widely scattered and generally moving inland. Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh says temperatures will climb into the upper 80s with high humidity.
A few afternoon storms continue tomorrow. Winds aloft switch directions by Thursday night and Friday which will help get some more rain back to the beaches Friday afternoon.

This weekend will feature midday and afternoon storms to watch out for as you celebrate the 4th of July.
TROPICS: We are tracking a tropical wave approaching the Lesser Antilles later today. Significant development is unlikely with this one. Another tropical wave could develop over the next few days as it moves west-northwest across the Central Atlantic. This one will approach the Lesser Antilles by Friday.
