Jacksonville, FL — You may be seeing or smelling some smoke on your drive home on the Westside.
A fire has sparked at a building at Naval Air Station- Jacksonville. A public information officer for NAS Jax says lightning hit one of their hangars during today’s storms.
We’re told the hangar was empty at the time, because it was undergoing renovations.
Crews are responding to assist Nas Jax Fire with a commercial building structure fire in the 6800 block of Roosevelt Blvd on the base.
