Jacksonville, FL — After two sisters were shot inside their Westside condo early Tuesday morning, new court documents obtained by WOKV are shedding light on what exactly happened.
According to the affidavit for arrest warrant for the suspect, Chad Absher, 32, he had been fighting with one of the victims, Ashlee Rucker, though the day. It's believed the fight had initially started over his refusal to give her back her car keys.
That argument turned physical at some point, with a witness inside the condo seeing Absher choke Ashlee. The warrant goes on to say Absher then charged at the witness. He decided to leave the home, after seeing a gun, taking Ashlee's sister, Lisa Rucker, with him.

But once they left, Lisa went back inside to check on her sister. That's when the witness says he heard two gunshots only a few seconds apart.
The warrant says the witness then saw Absher leave the condo, while trying concealing a rifle or shotgun in his jacket.
When the witness went back inside, he says he found Ashlee and Lisa both shot in the head.
Absher is now charged with murder, attempted murder, and the possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
According to police, it was Lisa who identified him as the gunman, despite her life-threatening injuries.
