Bomb squad called to Islamic Center of NE Florida

JSO bomb squad responded to the Islamic Center of Northeast Florida around 3:30 p.m. Friday afternoon.

Police say a suspicious package addressed to the Islamic Center showed up at the center 2-3 weeks ago.  There was no associated threat in the package.

Police believe the Imam was on vacation or out of town, which may be why the package was not reported to police until now.
