“Bow Wow Meow Luau” aims to relieve overcrowded shelters

Jacksonville, FL — Local animal shelters are once again critically full, so the adoption fee is waived at multiple locations in Jacksonville this weekend.

The Jacksonville Humane Society and Jacksonville Animal Care and Protective Services are holding a “Bow Wow Meow Luau” at three locations, featuring hundreds of adoptable dogs and cats. The event runs Saturday July 14th and Sunday July 15th from 10AM to 4 PM at JHS at 8464 Beach Boulevard, ACPS at 2020 Forest Street, and Petsmart Regency at 356 Monument Road.

The adoption fee is waived for this event, although additional fees may apply.
