The businesses in the Jacksonville Landing will remain open after the weekend is over, but a full slate of free concerts and family-friendly events will be your last chance to party in the courtyard before the building is demolished.
The final party kicks off tonight with music by The 7 Street Band featuring a guest performance from Special Formula Band from 7 p.m. to midnight on the Sleiman Riverfront Stage.
Car enthusiasts will get their last look at the Landing on Saturday when the Jacksonville Mustang Club puts on their 17th Regional Mustang & Ford Show. You can stop by and see the cars from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Head on down to show off your facial hair later that night for the Dirty South Villains 4th Annual Meet at 7 p.m. It’s a regional meet up for the Bearded Villains of Jacksonville to benefit the National Kidney Foundation.
They’ll have vendor tables and a beard competition. The event will be held in the Jack Daniels Bar.
Live music will wrap up around midnight Saturday, but it will start up again Sunday for the last day of the party with The Katz Downstairz headlining the day.
If you need something to remember the Landing, they’ll be handing out t-shirts, koozies and gifts Saturday and Sunday night.
