Jacksonville, FL — We remain stuck in the 50’s today but skies should eventually clear so it’ll be brighter than Monday.
Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh says we're in for a cold night tonight. A Frost Advisory is in effect from 2am to 8am on Wednesday.
“Down to about 30 over western Duval County, 32 to 34 near the I-95 corridor, and about 35 to 38 for the Intracoastal and beaches, so primarily an inland thing, so to speak, as far as the freeze and frost goes. But, with very little wind and temperatures getting in some cases to the mid-30’s near the beaches, there may be a few plants that you might want to cover up”, said Buresh.
Once we shake off the chill early Wednesday we’ll have the nicest day of the week with afternoon temps in the mid-60’s.
Temps will warm up by the end of the week, but we’ll also face a significant rain threat for rain on Friday.
