Jacksonville, Fl — A free opportunity to improve your financial fitness is coming to Downtown Jacksonville on Saturday.

The City of Jacksonville and VyStar Credit Union are teaming up to provide free practical financial education and resources.

“We’re really trying to make it fun, exciting, interactive and meaningful because we realize people are struggling right now,” said Jonathan Hanson, SVP Marketing Strategy and Member Engagement at VyStar Credit Union.

Included are workshops on growing, managing, and protecting your money, financial wellness for adults, and an interactive reality fair for teens.

The Reality Fair is an interactive financial simulation that gives teens

Everything is free and they’ve included incentives including a chance to win up to $1,500 toward your rent or mortgage payment.
