MIDDLEBURG, Fla. — A Clay County School Bus Driver has passed away after 26 years of working for the school district.
Gail Brusseau, 66, passed away last week leaving behind four children, nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Clay County Schools did release a statement saying they are grateful for Brusseau and will miss her.
We are deeply saddened by the passing of our employee, Gail Brusseau. We want to extend our sincere condolences to her family and friends. Gail was dedicated to Clay County District Schools working as a bus driver for more than 20 years. We are thankful for her service and will honor her legacy.

There is a memorial in Middleburg that features the bus that she drove for years. On the bus is a sign that memorializes Brusseau and placed around the bus are flowers from her co-workers.
