Jacksonville, FL — It's already netted 24 arrests, with 7 suspects still being actively sought.

The Clay County Sheriff's Office carried out a major operation to serve warrants throughout the county on Wednesday.

It all began at 5:00 am, with help from the Green Cove Springs Police Department and the Orange Park Police Department. Most of the warrants targeted the sale and/or delivery of narcotics.

Sheriff Darryl Daniels issuing this warning to anyone committing crimes in the area: “Nobody in Clay County is exempt from the reach of the Clay County Sheriff's Office. It doesn’t matter if you’re at work, whether you’re at home, whether you’re at church. There’s no place that’s safe....”

The sheriff's office tells us that 35 warrants were served on 21 individuals, with 19 stemming from Middleburg, 10 from Green Cove Springs, 5 from Keystone Heights, and 1 from Orange Park.

We're told the 35 charges include the following:

8 Sale/Delivery of Cocaine

11 Sale/Delivery of Methamphetamine

3 Sale/Delivery of Fentanyl

3 Sale/Delivery of Heroin

1 Sale/Delivery of Controlled Substance

3 Possession of Cocaine

2 Sale/Delivery of Marijuana

1 Possession of Methamphetamine

1 Trafficking in Heroin

1 Possession of Controlled Substance without Prescription

1 Possession of Marijuana >20 grams

In addition to those arrests, the sheriff's office says 2 individuals were arrested on charges not stemming from a warrant. 2 other individuals being served with warrants also acquired additional arrests on 9 additional charges.

As for the suspects still being sought, the sheriff's office released the below image. Sheriff Darryl Daniels says he’s particularly concerned about suspect Justin Ervin, who has allegedly said he’s not going back to jail and will commit suicide by cop, if necessary. Daniels is asking anyone who knows him to talk him out of that idea for his own safety and for the safety of his officers.
