Clay County Sheriff’s Office needs help with death investigation

MIDDLEBURG, Fla. — The Clay County Sheriff’s Office has identified the woman who was found dead in Black Creek on Feb. 22, 2021, as Lynda Robertson.

CCSO is continuing to investigate her death and ask anyone that may know her to contact detective David Vereen at 904-264-6512.

Action News Jax asked the Sheriff’s Office if they believed foul play resulted in Robertson’s death and a spokesperson with the Sheriff’s Office told us this, “We are investigating as a suspicious death, and we’re looking into all avenues possible.”

Below are pictures of Robertson and her truck.

The Sheriff’s Office originally posted on social media asking for the community help to identify the woman by a necklace she was wearing.
