Jacksonville, Fl — The Jacksonville community is rallying around a family that lost three children to a fire this week.
Eleven-year-old twins and a 2-year-old boy died in Tuesday’s fire in Mandarin.
The parents and two other children, ages 9-years-old and 2-months, survived but are critically injured.
There’s no word on how the fire started.
A GoFundMe page has raised over $212,000 for the Manati family.
The organizer, Alessia Firi, is the great-niece of the family and says the outpouring of love, support, and generosity from our community has been absolutely overwhelming.
“Donations will help cover medical expenses, housing, funeral and memorial costs for the three children, and other urgent needs the family may face. Every donation will go directly toward helping the family navigate the immediate financial burdens that come with this tragedy,” wrote Firi.
