Jacksonville FL — As the U.S. continues to recover from the pandemic and with the Summer driving season almost here, Consumer Warrior Clark Howard is predicting gas prices will keep on rising temporally all the way through the fourth of July. Clark says as more people start heading on road trips again after the pandemic that’s gonna drive up demand which in turn will kick prices up.
He is predicting that prices will start to become more reasonable for the second half of the Summer and then by Fall we should be back to a normal supply and demand cycle.
Right now in Jacksonville, the current average price for a regular gallon of gas is about $2.83 a gallon according to AAA.
