JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — According to Florida Highway Patrol, there was a deadly crash on Buckman Bridge.

At around 10:35 a.m., a blue-colored car was driving north on Interstate 295 on the Buckman Bridge when it caught fire. FHP said that at this time the reason for the fire is not known.
“The sole occupant of the vehicle was unable to get out and was pronounced deceased on scene,” FHP said in a statement.
The left and center lanes were both blocked to traffic at the time of the incident.
