Downtown Vision to kick off ‘Halloweek’ festivities on Monday in Jacksonville

Non-profit organization Downtown Vision is kicking off a 5-day Halloween celebration in downtown Jacksonville on Monday.

During ‘Halloweek’, you’re encouraged to hunt and collect QR codes at local businesses to receive a Halloween treat. To view a list of participating businesses as well as a map, you can click HERE.

Downtown Vision says individuals who complete the hunt by scanning at least 10 different QR codes between October 26 through October 30 will receive a $20 #DTJax e-Gift Card via email.

Halloweek will also include a ‘Jack O’Landing’ move night with two showings of Hocus Pocus at the former Landing Lawn. The showings will take place on Thursday, October 29, at 6:30 PM and 9:30 PM. Each reserved square seats up to four adults plus kids and comes with a free bag of popcorn. Additionally, food trucks will be on site as well. If you want to go, you will need to register online by clicking HERE. However, at last check, the movie showings were sold out with those interested added to a waiting list.

“Downtown and its businesses need your support now more than ever. We are excited to see families and friends here in Downtown watching a favorite Halloween movie and supporting our incredible #DTJax businesses,” says Jake Gordon, Downtown Vision CEO.
