JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The free walk-up COVID-19 testing site at the Legends Center will move to a new location temporarily starting Monday, Oct. 12.
Testing will take place at a nearby location -- the Lincoln Villa Senior Center at 7866 New Kings Road -- from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
The city announced the move is being made so that the Legends Center can be sanitized in preparation for it to be used as an early voting site ahead of the Nov. 3 election.
A date has not been announced for when testing will return to the Legends Center.
