JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department responded to a deadly motorcycle crash that happened on Beach Boulevard and Spring Glen Road around 8:10 p.m. on Tuesday.
The crash was between a Honda Accord and a motorcycle, JSO says. The motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Police say the driver fled the scene.
The road will remain closed as police investigate.
This is the 52nd traffic fatality in Duval County this year and the 14th involving a motorcycle, JSO says.
