JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Police are looking for any information regarding an incident where a woman was attacked inside her home in a Pine Forest neighborhood Wednesday morning.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says they were dispatched to a home in the 2300 block of Johnson Ave in reference to an aggravated battery.
Police say a woman was attacked inside her home by an unknown person.
Jacksonville Fire and Rescue transported the woman to a local hospital. It is unclear if the woman suffered from any injuries.
JSO did not give the woman’s age or if she was alone in the residence.
As of Wednesday morning, police do not have any suspect information.
Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call JSO at 904-630-0500 or at CrimeStoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS.
Action News Jax told you Friday, July 16 when JSO issued a public safety alert about a man attacking women on Jacksonville’s Northside. Police did not say if they believe these incidents are all related or not.
