This happened to Beverly Ellis-Hebard on Nov. 6. She said she routinely flies from Philadelphia to Jacksonville, saying the River City is her second home.

According to Fox Business, Ellis-Hebard asked a gate agent if she could quickly use the restroom. She said crews rushed her onboard the plane once she got back.

But once she was seated, crews announced the plane was actually flying to Jamaica.

Without a passport, Ellis-Hebard was not allowed to leave the plane. After several hours, her plane was sent back to Philadelphia.

Frontier told Fox Business they gave her a refund and apologized as well.
