Easter tradition returns: Mandarin Art Festival sticks to its roots

Mandarin Art Festival

Jacksonville, Fl — An Easter tradition is about to celebrate its 58th anniversary. The Mandarin Art Festival on Mandarin Road is Saturday and Sunday. Director Susie Scott says it’s all about the art.

“We are a fine art and fine craft show and many festivals are morphing into food and entertainment. We’ve kind of stayed true to our roots.“, Scott said.

More than 100 juried artists will display their work. More than a dozen local schools will have student work on display.

The event also features a green market, live entertainment, food court and bake sale.

A $2 donation is suggested, but otherwise the event is free.
