A Mandarin family escaped unharmed after their home went up in flames early Tuesday.
The home on Dividing Oaks Trail East, off Marbon Rd. near San Jose, is believed to be a total loss.
Fire crews were not sure if the fire started inside or outside the house. Â It appears a propane tank exploded, but investigators don't know if that was the origin of the fire. Â
The American Red Cross has been called in to help the family.
We're told the family was woken up by their smoke alarm before they called the fire department.
