Jacksonville, Fl — Today will be the most uncomfortably warm day of the week overall with higher humidity and temperatures pushing near 90 degrees. It will have a summer ‘feel’ with a shower or thunderstorm developing along the sea breeze.
Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh says storms will be widely scattered, only about 30 to 40% of the area will manage rain. It’s been more than a week since we’ve seen measurable rainfall at JAX.

Another chance at a few showers is in the forecast for Wednesday, but less than 25% of the area will likely see rain. Temperatures will turn cooler and winds will turn to out of the north and east.
Thursday and Friday look really nice with dry air and cool winds out of the northeast. Temperatures will be right around the average of 80.
The weekend is looking nice and only gradually warmer. Saturday will be partly sunny and mild in the low 80s. Sunday looks even warmer with temperatures into the upper 80s.
