JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Heavy storms brought locally heavy rain overnight.

  • Some neighborhoods in Duval/St. Johns received 1-2″ of rain
  • Things are quieting down for the morning commute
  • It’s another humid and very hot day ahead
  • There will be a few storms later this afternoon & evening
  • Like the last couple of days, the highest storm chance will be in NE FL
  • Friday’s a rinse and repeat
  • We’re tracking a shower or storm near Downtown Jax Friday evening for the Jags game
  • There will be more storms this weekend, especially Saturday
  • Rain coverage drops a bit Sunday & Monday
  • There’s little relief from the heat in view the next 7 days
