First Coast Crime Stoppers now offering up to $8,000 reward in Westside shooting case

First Coast Crime Stoppers is raising the potential reward for information in a case where two women were shot by a man on the Westside.

Anyone who comes forward with information about the case is now eligible for up to $8,000.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says they're looking for a man who fired shots out of the sunroof of a car July 17 on Woodcrest Road. Police say more than two dozen bullets were fired.

The women had just pulled up to the home when the second car stopped behind them, and the gunman opened fire, according to police. They believe a white, four-door sedan was involved.

One woman was hit in the back of the head and the other was hit in the thigh.
