Five of 32 First Coast Bank of America branches open post-Irma

Jacksonville Bank of America

Jacksonville, FL — You’ve been reporting Bank of America branch locations across the First Coast are still closed, in the aftermath of Irma. We’ve now confirmed there are only three up and running in Jacksonville.

Bank of America tells us they’re open at 425 State Road 13 North, 10560 Old Saint Augustine Road, and 3535 University Blvd West.

In St. Augustine, there’s a branch open on 2135 US Hwy 1 South; and in Fernandina Beach, the branch at 1822 S 8th St.

In all, this means five of the bank’s 32 branches in Clay, Duval, Nassau, and St. Johns counties are now open.

Bank of America says before each location is reopened, they check power, structure, and other operational needs. Then, they coordinate security, and finally staffing. A spokesperson says they’re working as quickly as they can to get all of the locations up and running once again.
