Free dog adoptions offered by Animal Care and Protective Services due to full shelters

Jacksonville, Fl. — If you’re looking to add a dog to your family, Animal Care and Protective Services is offering free adoptions through Saturday, March 10th.

ACPS says their shelters are critically full adding they have 82 dog kennels in their adoption area and more than 150 dogs ready for adoption. According to ACPS, dogs that are available for adoption are taking up kennels that are normally used for strays entering the shelter.

All dogs available for adoption are spayed or neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, heartworm tested, and current on flea and heartworm prevention.

The free dog adoptions will be available at 2020 Forest Street, March 6th – March 10th between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
