Jacksonville, FL — Problematic traffic lights led to awful delays through Mandarin and the Southside this morning.
WOKV was first alerted to delays on San Jose on Twitter, and through rush hour we followed heavy traffic north and south of I-295 because of problems at several intersections.
Thanks for the heads up Kati. -Brian https://t.co/RuuDyYvMPH

WOKV reached out to City of Jacksonville officials, and discovered issues with traffic lights at several intersections:
San Jose and Sunbeam; San Jose at Claire Lane: A traffic engineering technician has been dispatched to review.
Gate Parkway and Town Center Parkway: Falls under the purview of American Lighting & Signal (contractor responsibility while under construction). The issue has been forwarded to them.
Butler Blvd and Philips Hwy: A traffic engineering technician has been dispatched to review.
It’s unclear if these issues are related to power outages and restoration following Hurricane Irma.
WOKV will keep you up to date on traffic delays throughout the day.
